I am excited to have the opportunity to share this extraordinary school with you. When I first started working here in 1997, I knew I had found a place to call home. The students were engaging and hard-working, the staff was dedicated and dynamic, and the parents were supportive and involved. As my role at the school increased and I moved out of the classroom and into more administrative roles, I came to see the full breadth and impact that a school like Aurora Prep can have on a student, his or her family, and education as a whole.

No one gets lost in the shuffle at APA, and I am so proud of the success stories that resonate through these halls. Kids who thought they were ‘dumb’ now can’t wait to do their homework, contribute ideas and try their best; kids who were ‘bored’ in traditional classrooms now work grade levels ahead and excel; kids who are ‘typical’ students but were falling through the cracks in a class of 30+ children are now vital and dynamic members of our community. These moments happen every day at Aurora Prep. It’s truly remarkable!
